Potts Food Pantry

In the many ways God has called us.

The Barbara J. Potts Memorial Food Pantry has been in operation since 1997 when it started in a small cabinet at Washington Avenue Presbyterian Church. The mission to care for church members and community families continued and grew in 2000 when Washington Avenue Presbyterian and Westminster Presbyterian Churches merged to became Unity Presbyterian Church.  When the church moved to its new location on Springhill Drive in 2003 it continued this important service by establishing the Food Pantry in our office building, the tan house to the right of our worship center. The Potts Food Pantry is supported by church fundraisers, member donations, community groups and business donations, and private individual donations.  We partner with the Salvation Army and Catholic Charities to continue our commitment to follow Jesus' command to "Feed my sheep."  We are ever grateful for Barbra Potts and her vision of hope.
