The members of Unity take the stewardship of God’s earth seriously and are mindful of this in our worship, education, facilities, and outreach. We have worked to become an Earth Care congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A) and the church has made the following pledge.

As part of our commitment to being an Earth Care Congregation, Unity has maintained a garden on the property.  In 2016 we designated it a Family Organic Garden with twelve individual plots for church members and community guests to use for the planting of annual vegetables. Most of our gardeners donate ten percent of their yield to the Potts Food Pantry to provide fresh produce during the summer.  To assist gardeners the church provides hoses for watering.  There are also a limited number of hoes, rakes, and shovels kept at the church office  which can be used during regular church hours
