Unity sponsors local missionary Dalton Byers who is a former student of one of our congregation members.  

Dalton is from Bloomfield, Indiana. After completing his undergraduate degree in Intercultural studies, Unity Presbyterian and others helped mobilize him to go to West Africa in order to do an internship with Pioneer Bible Translators. After serving the local church and missionaries he returned with the conviction of serving the Bibleless through work with Pioneer Bible. Dalton completed his formal education at Lincoln Christian University with a Master’s in Biblical Studies and now works full-time with Pioneer Bible as a recruiter to help mobilize the church to pray for and serve the world and Bibleless through Bible translation, church planting, and discipleship. 

Fun facts about Dalton:

- He enjoys spending his free time playing board games with friends.
